Lexulous Crossword Game
Lexulous is the new name for the game Scrabulous which was a big hit on Facebook. It's essentially the same game as Scrabble but using a different name. The name "Scrabulous" caused legal difficulties for the publishers as it was so close to "Scrabble", so they changed it to "Lexulous".
How To Get It:
You can download Lexulous from Ovi Store by selecting your phone's Ovi Store icon, or by going to store.ovi.mobi on your phone's web browser.
Alternatively you can go to store.ovi.com on your computer's browser.
If you can't see the game displayed on Ovi Store, it probably isn't compatible with your phone model.

Gameplay - Although the publishers will never admit this, Lexulous is virtually the same game as Scrabble, and indeed it used to be called Scrabulous until the owners of Scrabble took legal action. In case you've never played Scrabble, it's a board game where you have to create words using a random selection of letter tiles, with various bonuses on certain squares, and higher scores for using rarer letters such as Q and X. The winner is the one with the highest score at the end of the game. Lexulous/Scrabulous began life as an online game on social networking site Facebook, and the Ovi Store version of the game lets you play online using your Facebook account, but you can also play offline against the computer if you prefer.
Graphics - It's a scrabble board, there's not really anything else to say.
Sound - None.
Multiplayer & Online - Online multiplayer through the internet using your Facebook account.
Overall - The basic gameplay is sound, you can put down even obscure words and the computer opponent is challenging enough to give you a good game. However, there's a major flaw in the interface of the game on the N97/5800 version: it's far far far too small! Every single menu option is so tiny that it's impossible to select anything with your fingers and even using a stylus doesn't help much. This is such a severe problem that it makes this version of Lexulous a struggle to play, and until it's corrected we cannot recommend purchasing this game for the N97 or 5800. The problem is even more baffling because there is plenty of screen space into which the menus could have been expanded, yet they remain tinier than an ant's nostril.
