Phone Used For Review - Nokia 5800 XpressMusic (games may be different on different phone models)

Gameplay - This is a turn-based puzzle game where you have to guide a sheep safely through various dangers on an island. The sheep can only move in one direction, and carries on moving until it runs into an obstacle, so you have to make sure there is always something between it and the edges of the island, otherwise it falls off the cliffs into the sea. There are various special items on the courses such as tunnels, bales of hay, sliding doors etc which alter the playing conditions somewhat. There are 50 levels to complete in all.

Graphics - As with other games in the Sheep Mania series, the graphics are cartoony and feature a sheep that bears a slight resemblance to Sean from the Wallace & Gromit films. The animation is simple but colourful.

Sound - A chirpy reggae main theme on the title screen, with occasional sound effects during the game itself.

Multiplayer & Online - None.

Overall - The basic idea of the game is good, the learning curve is welcoming, and there are lots of levels to work through. This reviewer had some control problems on a few of the levels (which is why the sheep seems to occasionally commit suicide in the first half of the gameplay video) but they were relatively easy to work around, and shouldn't affect gameplay at all on non-touch devices. Overall, this is a nice little game.
