Tower Bloxx (aka City Bloxx)
Tower Bloxx (also sometimes known as City Bloxx) is a simple but addictive one-button game where you have to build towers by dropping swinging blocks on top of each other. If you miss a certain number of times the tower collapses, and you can build massive combos by dropping many blocks in a row perfectly. The game also has a strategic puzzle element as you have to arrange towers of different heights in the most efficient way possible to maximise the city's population, which gets quite difficult as the city starts filling up.

Ovi Gaming Review:
Phone Used For Review - Nokia 5800 XpressMusic (games may be different on different phone models)
Gameplay - There are two modes in Tower Bloxx, a straightforward Quick Game where you have to stack a tower as high as possible, and a Build City mode where you have to build several towers of varying heights strategically. Quick Game's mainstay is forming long chains of combos which allow you to get very high scores, while Build City requires much more planning, especially in the later stages as the city fills up. Actual building involves just one button, you press it when you want to release the next block, and dropping a block perfectly starts a new combo or extends an existing one. If your dropped blocks miss three times, the current tower construction stops. Perfectly-dropped blocks greatly increase a tower's population.
Graphics - The building-blocks of the towers are made up of simple but effective 3D models which stack very nicely. The graphics are clear enough to judge exactly how to drop blocks, and the camera is steady too (which makes this version of Tower Bloxx much more playable than the "Deluxe" edition). There are also some very nice decorative touches such as the residents flying into place by umbrella, the special roofs for well-made buildings, and the surprises you encouter if you build a very high building in Quick Game mode.
Sound - A nice relaxing tune plays in the background as you build the towers.
Multiplayer & Online - There's a built-in online ranking system for comparing scores with other players.
Overall - The concept behind the game (one-button control for stacking blocks) sounds very very dull, but the actual game is great fun to play and provides a surprising amount of depth. Quick Game's combo system and the limited number of lives makes it exciting and tense, while Build City gradually becomes a genuinely difficult strategy game as you struggle to fit enough people into a limited space while obeying the construction zone rules. Excellent stuff, and the one-button control system means it is equally playable on practically any mobile phone.
Score - 85%
