SalesForce, with its cloud based software as a service model, is frequently cited as a key enterprise application and is a natural match for Nokia's Eseries range of phones. In ended last year with more than 55,000 corporate customers, 1.5 million individual subscribers and $1 billion in revenue. Taking CRM mobile (e.g. being able to access the latest account activity and status before an important call) and the ability to respond immediately (to new leads or other events), regardless of location, can significantly enhance the productivity.
SalesForce for Symbian utilises a hybrid approach to data storage - it stores a subset of data on the device to provide instant access to the most important information (recently accessed / active), but is also able to retrieve any additional information over the network from your SalesForce account.
The software does not require a SalesForce Mobile license or any addition set up. It will work with a Professional, Enterprise or Unlimited SalesForce.com license.

The application has been tested, and is fully supported, on the Nokia E71 and E66, but should also work on all S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 1 and Feature Pack 2 phones.
The beta will be open until the 1st of September, the public role of the first full release is expected by Q4 of this year. Inova IT are keen to collect feedback from the beta participants in order to fine tune the application before its release and their feedback will help shape the final version/ Active beta participant will be given special bonuses, along with discounts for the commercial release of the application.
