album art in symbian^3 music player

I used Media Monkey too and found it really useful. I actually pre-populated my albums with album art and then ran the transfer (in fact I don't like syncing music, so I always drag and drop MP3s manually).

One thing to be aware of however, is the difference between ID3 and ID2 tags when adding art and other meta data to MP3s. If memory serves, the N8's music player recognizes one format, but not the other. I think it's ID3; which is the newer standard so it makes sense esp. as Media Monkey writes meta data in MP3 in ID3v2 format.

So, if you have MP3s in your collection which display album art in Media Moneky (and poss other computer media players) on your computer, but the art isn't displayed when you transfer them to your N8, it may be because they're stored in the ID2 format and not ID3.
