N8 Proximity Sensor Issue

Hi,
My wife has a N8 and keeps getting cut off when making calls.
I've tried explaining that the proximity sensor needs to be really close to her ear and that perhaps changing the way she holds it would resolve the issue - but have you tried telling your wife what to do???

It does seem that the proximity switch is unduly insensitive.
Has anyone any solutions - having the sensor changed, for example.
Will the setting be improved with ANNA?

I don't know if its her cheek or just her ear lobe.
With a capacitive screen you don't need to apply any pressure.
