Yes it can,

It can handle simple javascript(if you use opera) and html pages without a problem.
For instance reading this forum and posting isn't a problem.

I don't understand?

1) You can download software but it's very slow.

2) There are many apps that can be dowloaded either freeware or apps that can be bought.

Yes you can download through the browser, open it and use save as ....
Download speed depends on your connection with HSCSD you can get a reasonable download speed 😊

yep. i've actually tried it recently...if you know of a dial up isp you can simply put it in the internet settings and off you go 😊 it's kinda slow though hehe...oh yah...someone mentioned opera...i went to the opera website and they mentioned that they do not have any opera software for the 9210...so...err what opera are you talking about?
