Diary App for Nokia N8 or E7?

I am looking for a dairy app that works just like a normal paper diary. I simply want to type text into a dated page to record the info I wish to retain.

The only one I can find on Ovi is MyDiary which only work in portrait mode and I wish to have it in landscape for typing purposes.

It will be used on my N8 and E7.

Any ideas people?

Way back on PalmOS, I found PalmJournal to be an indispensable diary program that was simple yet did things well. It could order entries by date and title and entries could be as long as you wanted. The global search feature also made it easy to look for words in previous entries.

I haven't found anything like that for Symbian. The closest I've come is ActiveNotes for S60v5 - you can create short notes, put them in folders and sort them by title/date, but that program only came with the N97 and it doesn't work on S^3 phones. It's like a beefed-up Notes program and it works perfectly well in landscape or portrait orientation.

The Notes application on the N8 and E7 is hopeless for diaries because entries are too short and sorting is by modified date only. Hopefully someone can port ActiveNotes to S^3...

built in to Anna .. seems to do a reasonable job ..
set it to week / day / To-Do / Agenda
just type what you want into subject .. it seems to allow fairly lengthy entries

have a play ..

I think there is a built in to do notes in E7 works like a diary. You can check the ovi store for diary app.
