I'm not quite sure how they justify this statement?

"Symbian has not cornered the smartphone OS market, Ira Brodsky, president of Datacomm Research, told Wireless NewsFactor. He pointed out that while Nokia, Sony Ericsson and Motorola are circling the wagons, Microsoft owns the enterprise sector."

The current Microsoft powered smartphones have not been very succesful anywhere, enterprise or not. As far as phones in general are concerned, the company I work for uses Nokia!

I don't think there is an enterprise smartphone market yet! There will be and it will be big. I also think I know what operating system they will be using User posted image

I don;t think they are referring to an enterprise phone market. They are talking about enterprise systems in general. This is one of the key challenges facing Symbian et al how to make sure corporations choose their technology when they start to roll out mobile enterprise solutions.
