Is there and Acrobat reader for the P800? I was able to rcv such a file from a palm os clie but I cant seem to open it with the built in viewer. Any suggestions?

By the way, speaking of which, do we just copy the excel or word doc directly to the P800? no converters or anything? wouldnt the file be too big?

Um , pare, from my experience, I just copy and pasted them and they were ok. You have Adobe built with it too and you can also just copy and then paste that, I dont know what happened there but I did it before. Yeah I am not to sure about the P800 compressing the documents but then I think that they will be the same in terms of the memory consumption.

I transferred an excel spreadsheet onto the memory stick via a USB card reader from my computer so its size did not change at all. I put it in the appropriate directory (ie Media files\document\unfiled) that the P800 created the first time I inserted the duo into it. The viewer opens it no problems, but loses all the cool features like charts, freeze columns/rows, the ability to interact with the spreadsheet.

I would suggest you make sure its in the directory that the Viewer looks at, or alternatively try opening it with File Manager. Haven't tried a PDF. But no converter necessary, no compression.

Ok, tried an ordinary PDF file and it works 😊 Thanks guys! The file that was beamed to me probable got corrupted, willtry it again when I meet up with that guyd 😊
