"Contact phone retailer" Error since Anna Upate

Since installing 'Anna' (which has been great) I've been getting a bizarre error (from time to time). Occasionally when I restart the phone (something I don't do often) because the Music Player has crashed (and will not restart) the phone boots up - seems to be working fine and then suddenly comes up with a message saying

"startup error contact phone retailer" (I think I'm paraphrasing a little...sorry)

none of the keys work after this message and I usually have to go through a number of restarts to clear the problem. However it does eventually clear and then the phone seems to work with no problem.

Am I missing something obvious or should I reinstall Anna - or is this a intermitent hardware issue?

Any thoughts much appreciated

I had this error once after installing Anna but it went away after a reboot and has yet to return. I think you may have to wipe and start again....

this is a problem even without anna update. I had this problem with symbian ^3. I used to do repeated hard resets and after a few trial phone used to boot properly. But after anna update till now I did not get that problem. Hope that got resolved with anna for me.

I had the same error come up whenever my N8 restarted.
I hard reset the device last week, put all software back on, and it's been fine since, fingers crossed!

thanks for all the advise - will try are hard reset - thought that might be the solution but haven't had a spare moment as yet.
