I contacted TuneIn asking if would be making a Symbian app. The following is the answer I got.
"[SIZE="1"]Hello Henrik
Thank you for contacting us regarding this issue. The Symbian app has been made already, but we are waiting for them to release an OS that can handle TuneIn and other media rich apps.
Sincerely,
Derek

Does anybody know what that means exactly. Were they waiting for Anna? Are they waiting for Belle? Why is Symbian the only OS that doesn't support TuneIn?
Their answer sounds like a load of bulls**t to me.
The response seems very churlish for a professional company...
They should look at Spotify which does everything that TuneIn does and more and it works excellently on Symbian and is generally on a par with the IOS and android versions. Also, Nokia Internet Radio has been running on various Symbian devices since at least N95 days..
They say they need Symbian to release an OS which supports rich media but they've already written it for the Symbian OS... makes no sense...
I assume there are some components for streaming/codec support provided by IOS/Android that aren't present on Symbian. And that they've written the front end...??
Anway it's my favourite radio app on IOS and android and I would love it on Symbian^3.... :frown:
