Search the net for "gnubox". If you can't get that to work, then I don't know of anything else that can, either.

GnuBox does not exist anymore. Their website doesn't even exist any longer.
Besides, it was developed only for S60v3 based devices and AFAIK there isn't any version compatible with Nokia 5233. I've tried all of it including gnubox for Nokia's 6xxx series. It may work out with SE devices but not Nokia's and if you go ahead and use it, after you create a new AP in your device, open up gnubox and then get back to 'destinations' under connectivity, you'll see that there is a problem with the access point, it's there but the device does not think it exist.

There is Bluesoleil, if you can buy for it, try it. But I don't recommend it either, it will try to use your bluetooth COM port but I couldn't find a way to make it work.
I'm on your team trying to get to a solution, I also own a Nokia 523 and I was thinking how is the experience of browsing the net using my cellphone. Oh well, next time I'll wait a little bit more until I get enough to buy a 5800/N8 or Xperia ARC.
