Nokia E7 with Gameloft — Symbian^3 phones (N8, C7, C6-01, E7-00)

Hey guys,

I'm the recent proud owner of a Nokia E7 which is simply awesome. It's replacing my beloved N8. Everything works fine as far as I can tell except when I try to run either Eternal Legacy or Dungeon Hunter 2, I get the initial Gameloft animation and even an introductory video but then itt crashes. My phone is completely unresponsive and I have to power cycle it.

I've opened a support case with Gameloft but I was wondering if anyone has had similar issues to this and knew how to solve it? Gamelofts response so far is just to send me a copy of the game again.

P.S. I tried World of Rabbit and Angry Birds and they seem OK. Just gameloft titles as far as I can tell.

Is assasins creed gameloft? I dont have my E7 with me to check. This title works fine on both my N8 and E7.

I think the issue is with qtmobility. I get "system error" whenever I turn it on a few times. I get the same thing when I try and install gnewsreader from the OVI store and Nokia Reader from BetaLabs.

Is there a way I can manually upgrade qtmobility?

All fixed. I had to hard reset the phone with the three finger salute. After that it's worked like a charm 😊
