Hi all!
We are developing an OpenSource app for tracking sports activities called GOFG - Get On Fat Guy. We are currently working on a port to Qt and therefor to Symbian platforms.
We are currently looking for people who would like to help us out with testing our app on the Symbian platform.
If you are interested, please either let me know in here or visit our homepage and post there (see signature).
We are not only looking for Symbian^3 testers but actually any Symbian version which Qt is compatible with (which also includes S60, etc.) - however I didn't want to cross post so please moderators do so if you think it is appropriate!
Is this app gonna be available for other platforms like Windows Phone, MeeGo, Android, iOS? I can help you with...
Yes, the app is already available for iOS and Android (both in the AppStore & Market). We are now currently working on the Symbian port. Once that is ready for productive use we are planning to use the Qt port for Windows Mobile, MeeGo, etc. as well (basically all mobile OSes supported by Qt for now).
I will send you a PM with my contact details - please get in touch with me!
For now I only have a Windows Phone and an Android handset but soon I will be receiving a trial Symbian Belle device so it's opt to you!
Great - just keep me updated once you have your device.
What device / symbian version will it be? So that I can prepare the package for it?
Ah okay - so you are stlil shopping 😉.
As I said above - once you have it just contact me!
If anyone else is interested into testing the app as well - just let me know!
