Hi just wondering if you guys could help. I been looking for ages and talking :agrue: to millions of people about getting the phone unlocked. But what I did hear and this might suprise you is that they found software to unlock phone on the docking station 😮 . Does anyone know how and what software is used. Let me know what you guys think. My p800 is unlocked from Orange but I would really like a way of being able to do it myself from home as I have the orange care, and claiming on that will get me another locked unit 😞
Yeah this sounds like it should happen. I dunno if it's true. Good if it is. What software is there to use. None support USB do they. I also heard its possible to unlock the phone with Bluetooth. I dunno what to think of that. O well. Keep posted.
Well, perhaps it is possible, but it's probably at your own risk (because such software often is). And I wouldn't want to risk a 800 euro device 😉 Besides, I bought mine unlocked, so no problem for me... 😉

There�s no reason for me to buy it at a provider. You have a new number, when not it is more expensive.
The difference in price between buying locked at provider or unlocked at an online shop (not in public stores) is about 20 �. I didn�t think it over, it is clear to buy one unlocked phone.
I don�t think it is possible to unlock it via software (neither usb or bluetooth). You need the code which is used from the providers, maybe good connections via friends at a the provider can help you.
Older phones are easy to unlock, but it was a risk too. The phone-generation now is too difficult software-sided, no change I think.
Maybe I�m wrong, I hope so for the future. "Everything is possible"!
