Evening all, just checking to see if anyone else is having this problem. I seem to be getting a re occurrence of the licence issue that affected the BBC iplayera while ago. If I download a programme I get an error saying unable to ontain licence. And now it won't even play direct from the site. My wifes N8 has the same issue as well.
iplayer woes
A number of people have noted this issue on the Nokia forums.
I am one of the many that have emailed the iPlayer site to flag it as a problem, but no response yet.
Me too , not had N8 long, updated to Anna and now cannot get iplayer to Stream or Download.
Back to my n86 no problem there.
I don't think the problem is related to the Anna update, as iPlayer was working OK for me after the Anna update. It is just in the past month or so that I have started to get 'unable to get licence' messages.
The iPlayer site, 'Frequent Questions' section, seems to indicate an acknowledgement of a problem, and not just for Symbian devices.
i have used the iplayer site to contact bbc about it, i would recommend doing this - the more people that make them aware of this the more likely they'll get round to fixing it

Ive had this issue on My E7 for quite a while now, has anyone managed to fix this yet?
Have also contacted Nokia
However am able to view programmes but not store them to view later. The dreaded "unable.." appears when I try to open the file.
