I may be missing something real simple here but I never seem to know when my N8 is using Wi Fi and when it's using WAP.
The only time I know it's using Wi Fi for sure is when I open Opera in my house, because it asks me what connection I would like to use.
However, when I use other applications at home that require internet access, I'm not convinced I am connecting to WI Fi.
As an example, I have just downloaded an app from ovi store using my phone. It's not a large app but it's taking forever to download, so I suspect it is using WAP. Why isn't it using my WLAN?
Hope this makes sense and that someone can steer me in the right direction.
