N8 Anna Widget

I have 3 Anna related widget-questions.

1. When in Edit Home Screen, it's possible to add the Shortcuts Widget, which can be configured to receive 4 apps, the default being 4x "Manage". But how to get "Manage" back when the one configured must be removed ?

2. On the net I saw references to a Anna Music Player widget. I can't find it on the N8, and not in the Ovi Store. On the N8 there is a widget called "Music", which is for the Radio Player

3. For Maps it is possible to add a button pointing directly to "Drive". How to achieve the same for "Walk" ?

Thanks

Interesting questions.

1. Can't find any way to do this on an individual shortcut basis, you need to remove the whold 4-app widget and re-add it. If you uninstall an app that's on the shortcut widget you end up with a 'Miscellaneous' shortcut which also cannot be added manually.

2. The Music Player widget is called 'Music Player'.

3. Do you have the latest Maps Suite installed? I don't so I can't test this for you, sorry.

Hi, thanks for the reply

1. Neither did I find a way to do, silly isn't it

2. The application is called Music Player, but I can't find such a thing like Music Player (Widget). I know it exists, seen some screenshots on the net, but no way to locate it. Looks like it has been removed from the official Anna. Every new version gives less functionality (ex : the missing GPS Locations - GPS data)

3. Yes, I have the 3.08 installed via the Software Update

Update:

2. I found the Music Player Widget, but it's the same widget for Music Player, Radio a.s.o. Meaning it's not possible to add the widget more than once (and fixed for one specific app) and therefore easy switching between Music Player and Radio is not possible (anymore)

3. There seems to be no way to go directly to Walk. I really don't understand why Drive/Walk need to have a different way of working in this new version. It's certainly not an improvement . The missing GPS Locations - GPS data is even worse. I used to use that when Maps didn't get a quick satelite fix. Then the fix was quickly there and maps could be used.

As I wrote in another topic, every version makes things worse. See the (official Nokia) Belle-Faq, one is wondering what is still working completely.
