Maps problem after Belle update

Hoping somebody can maybe help.

After installing the long awaited update to Belle, I am encountering problems with Nokia maps.

Upon initial install of Belle I downloaded maps and on "Drive" they were visible. However, not so on "Maps".

I did a hard reset (*#7370#) hoping that would help. Downloaded the maps again (tried via wifi and Nokia suite) but now it's even worse. They are installed OK (apparently) but now I cannot see them on either "Maps" or "Drive".

Basically, as it is the Maps are rendered absolutely useless.

Any ideas on how I can fix this ?

Additionally I see that it's no longer possible to auto upload photos from gallery to Facebook. Seems like a glaring omission as this used to be a handy feature.

All in all, I'd say that this upgrade is proving pretty disappointing so far 😞

Thanks in advance.

I have a similar problem with maps. While I can download location maps, I cannot open them. My maps shortcut, when pressed, tells me to please disconnect my USB cord. It tells me this even when I am completely disconnected from my computer.

you can try copying and overwriting the 'cities' folder in the memory card/ mass memory from somebody who has maps working fine in belle.
You can also try from anna firmwares.
This worked when i did it to my 5230 from anna c7. This is just a guess, remember to backup your old cities folder.

and the upload problem is acknowledged in a belle review in this site. Hope it gets available on a new update...
