The slider to unlock my C7 doesn't move too smoothly; although strangely, it's clean and clear.
This morning I used a toothpick to lay a drop of fine lube in the hope to smooth thing out, but seems to have zero effect...
Has anyone come across this before?

Yes I have the exact same problem too, I'm afraid to do what you did though, hope someone has a solid solution for this.

Hi, i am c7 owner, lock slider, you can unlock sreen with menu button and download quick lock app, free in app store, so no need to use slider button, i have never used lock slider button,
