Ive been avoiding nokias for over a year, and after several android phones, 3 Xperia s, in as many days, I've decided to get the n8 until the n808 is fully launched.

Its locked to O2.. any benefit in debranding it - e.g. to get firmware faster ?

I recommend installing "camera sound mute mod" as this allows for some the ability to disable the shutter sound.
another program I like is "Camera pro". This allows for disabling the orange illuminating light used to achieve low light focus, plus the AF for video has much better control and is easier to use than the stock video recorder.
