Right then I got my phone locked to orange and untill I get it unlocked I would want to use the phone  . Is there anything that can allow me to enter the phone without a sim card? Cheers then

Nope, you're fooked. That is, unless you get software to unlock your p800 from Orange or the web, that is.

That's also the reason why I decided to stay with Vodafone, my phone is not locked to any network!!!

I think it's a bit naughty for Orange and T-mobile to do this, but, hey, they need a way to keep their customers...

:x Damn it man. O well cheers then always. I should be getting it unlcoked today. Maybe! LOL. I hope so. I can't be doing with a 500 quid piece of equipment stuck in my pocket doing nothing. LOL. Cheers then

I think he means when you switch the phone on without a physical SIM card in the phone, it won;t let you actually use the PDA functions.

Yeah, I think this sucks! I mean, its not just a phone, its a PDA, and the device can have a lock separate to the SIM, so why cant you turn the 'phone' on without a SIM? No worries about protecting your data if you use the device lock. Bug or deliberate??

I'm sure it must be deliberate. I got it unlocked anyways. Thing is it didn;t make a slightest bit of difference because the damn thing had been reported lost or stolen!!!!! ARHHHHHH
I bought it from someone rather than somewhere. Dodgy dealings as it may. :robot:
Sorry, pardon mi ingles 😊 To whom did you get it from? 😊 Now that sounds better 😊 Nontheless, I think you should return it to orange bec they will be able to find out who was the previous owner of the phone 😊

I had done that before. They tried searching database but there was like 2000 blocked out phones that day so they couldn;t be bothered to mess about finding out. I didn't really care aways. I sent the phone back and we'll see what happens then. :bday:
