HI! ...
The answer is YES!!! ...
over TCP/IP and GPRS... of course...
if you tested that already at your home you can see that is perfectly
possible 😃

and some friend saw me by CAM hehe! (PhoneCam) ... far far away 😃

thanks for the response... but what ip details does the other person need i mean what do i do ? bit thick i am 😮
HI!..
Just give it the PC Remote to your friend...
after he installed he need to set up by TCP/IP, then he
will see his IP number on the app...
that IP you have to know and puted on your phone on
RemoteS60 Network ... normally is the IP : port... for example 200.50.20.10:4514
that you will put on the Connection Network on RemoteS60..
that's...
then CONNECT!! and let's rock! 8)
hehe!
cya! 😃
hey dude thanks for the info.....but when she opens rs60 the ip address is
0.0.0.0:4567
and then under neath it says in brackets (217.187.14.85) something like that......
but i think that if i put in the zero ip it will not work....and another thing what or how do i connect on my phone to the ip address do i have to connect via gprs or a dial up connection ........ i really appreciate your help .....thanks in advance people.... 😊
Your IP address is probably the bit in brackets. If you want to make sure of your IP address, go to the Start Menu (I'm assuming you're using Windows... every Linux user I've met has known their IP! 😊) and click on Run, then type in CMD (Windows 2000/XP) or COMMAND (Windows 9x).
In the MS_DOS prompt that appears, type in:
ipconfig /all
A load of information will be displayed, among which is your IP Address.
You are right that will give you the IP address for the PC, but not the phone (which is what you are looking for.
The second figure is the IP address of the phone, the 0.0.0.0 address just tells that network that when the phone is switched on it should be dynamically assigned an address, just like DHCP in the PC world, the 0.0.0.0 means dynamically assigned.
Hope this helps.
