OK, so I've got my .3gp video clips on my PC and can play them in the Nokia player - but does anyone know how on earth I can convert them to a more standard format such as MPG or AVI?

right on! nokia just released a media converter, but I think it (should) only work the other way around... I say "should", since every attempt to load any kind of media in your computer causes the software to "hang"... a possible work-around is to right.click the file and click "open with", selecting media converter to open the file... unfortunately, you'll need to tell the software to save the file.... no need to tell you where that leads, is there?!perhaps that's why they call it "Beta" 😉)

You can do this QuickTime Pro 6. Rename the 3gp files to mp4. Open it with QT6 and then save as avi or mpg, whatever you wish. Hope this helps.
