Nokia 808 FP2 update — Symbian^3 phones (N8, C7, C6-01, E7-00)

Hi all

i have an 808 pureview which says that there is improved software is available from the SW update icon in the program list. It states that a quick restart is needed but if i click on the icon to start the update nothing happens, it says processing and the does nothing. If i check for updates through the device manager in phone settings or through PC suite its says no updates are available.
Does anybody have any idea whats wrong or if i am doing something wrong.

Mine is the same... I am wondering whether the Nokia server is overloaded...

Are you running any manually installed sis files? I have installed Orange Wednesdays, Skype and Putty manually...

i have manually installed quite a few sis files. It would be surrprising if the server was overloaded.........i mean its not like the 808 has sold in any great numbers in the UK, but its a possibility

Theres somebody on the Nokia support website from Sweden that has the same issue so i suppose its just a case of wait and see

and after a hard reset the update has disappeared... I knew I should have updated as soon as I found out... my backup wasn't that old :frown:

As of this morning my 808 is saying that the FP2 update is availalble again for download. Still unsure whether to go ahead and update or wait and see if any issues still exist with this update
