I have been using Hotmail through Exchange ActiveSync on my N8 and it's great the way it syncs both email and calendar. However, recently it has caused all kinds of problems:
1) The phone gets very hot and the battery flattens in a few hours.
2) After a few days of set up it deletes messages from my Hotmail inbox.
These things only happen when using Exchange ActiveSync. I am now using the Hotmail option when I set up my mailbox, but that does not sync with my Hotmail calendar, which I sorely miss.
Any suggestions?
