Is there any way to activate the front camera for self portraits?

I don't really see the point in using the front camera for anything other than video calling.
I think the answer is simple - why would you use the front camera which is poor compared to the monster at the rear? Only for video calling. There is no other reason I can think off except photoing yerself but hey, you can do that with the rear one, I have tried it and it works just fine - with a bit of editing lol
