My p800

I bought the fone on a tuesday and took it back on the coming friday. I was impressed and looking forward to it after doing my homework on the fone for 4 months, i ended up being very disapointed with the fone and cant justify the price with the features, its not quicker than my 7210 for writing which i hoped would be and i just find it cumbersum. The only thing i liked was the built in camera and good enough quality of photos (in full day light) and just the different format of tones which alot of fones have otherwise not for me

Maybe you should put more time into your homework then, particularly spelling and punctuation.
Funny how you don't like all the good points of the P800 and like it's biggest failing, the lousy picture quality.

Its funny how you take offence and resort to a totally different subject. This is about a consumer who says the product isnt up to scratch. The screen its ok but would of been better with 65k colours, read the post again i said (good enough) not exceptionally good duhh

You seem offended that I say the phone didnt live up to my expectations, shows your mentality doesnt it.

So you can't read either?
I just thought it funny that in addition to being unable to spell, punctuate or string a coherent sentence together, you seem to have no grasp of technology...
How could you have been "doing my homework on the fone for 4 months" and not realised it was unsuitable for your (somewhat limited) requirements?
Peoples opinions of the phone are only relevant when based in understanding of what they are discussing.

All the other posts here are helpful in forming opinions. Some people are disappointed with the P800, and thats a pity because its a good piece of kit, but youre shooting yourself in the foot by standing up and saying you researched it, bought it and then decided it was useless.

How would i research it properly? I would need to use it no? The p800 has just come out over here so how would someone research it? Read about it maybe until they have actually got it? 48 hours after i got it i now not only know its a load of crap i also know people like you talk alot of SHIT*:O)

Come on, back to your school books and ask mummy to make you a nice cup of tea.

Start doing some sport and meet some friends, don't use a discussion board to get some attention - it's a bit silly, really.

.Kingrob my p800 is the only friend i have and i dont do any sport. Hmm i wonder if theres a calorie counter application for the p800

King rob did your mummy tell you to say that? You stupid TWAT. ToneDeBone has a valid opinion and as it happens hes not the only person i have come across who didnt think much of the p800.

One way that phone companies could allow users to 'test' a phone is to make a virtual version of its user interface on a website. This would be relatively easy to do in Flash and would allow users to get a feel for whether the system is easy to use and does what they want. I know it wouldn't give you the 'feel' of the phone (e.g. if you like using the jog dial) but it'd be a good start.

While I don't agree with ToneDeBone's comments on the phone that's his opinion to which he's entitled. I have a Nokia 9210 also which I think is superb - my boss bought it and thought it was crap (thankfully he didn't hold it against me and now he might buy a P800 as well). But I would say this: How many phones out there have the flexibility of the P800 and will have as many applications available for them that cross such a broad range of boundaries. I use VNC on my P800 to control a web server several thousand miles away via GPRS. Although I use the same facility on the Nokia this would be via standard dialup.

If I were to compare the P800 with the Nokia 9210 I'd say the Nokia wins with the keyboard, ability to receive faxes and a wider landscape screen, but the P800 wins with virtually everything else. It's a third smaller/lighter than the Nokia, has tri-band and GPRS, MP3 player, already has loads of apps, built in camera (Nokia has one, but separate and connects via IR). Its internet support is far superior to the Nokia - I never successfully connected to my email server via the 9210 but the P800 worked straight out of the box.

PS. ToneDeBone's grammer may have been crap, but maybe English is not his/her first language. Alternatively, maybe he's trying to post it on his P800 keyboard 😃

Why do you just compare the p800 to an old nokia? The 3650/6650 has a advantage over the p800 which hopefully s.e will make for the p800. Video mms is a 3g thing. Theres more applications for nokia aswell so your wrong again. P.S is this about a phone or are you crying like the twat you are because you have a p800 but dont understand the facts. YOU TWAT HAHAHA

And there was me defending you...

I did not even mention 3G. I did not say that the P800 had more apps than the Nokia, just an impressive array for a new product. And I did not start by slagging you off. I was suggesting a solution to your comment about having the option to test a phone, followed by defending your right to have a different opinion to the majority in these forums.

Read properly, get some manners and learn to type.

OMG, what a complete dimwit! Just keep your crappy N7210 and leave the P800 for the big boys. What the hell are you trolling around this forum for?

For a detailed comparison of four high tech devices check this
And guess who the winner is....

You really take it personally dont you hahaha, you not only are pathetic you get upset just because someone doesnt like the phone hahaha YOU ARE VERY SAD. P.S if your a big boy then show your silly face instead of hiding like a pussy behind your shit phone. But you wouldnt would you TWAT FACE hahaha

Hmmm... Nobody here care about your childish comments, if you like the P800 or not is your business, but what I fail to understand is why the hell do you keep coming back? We get your point, you don't like it, but so what, it's not for everyone. We would respect your opinions(no matter how negative) if you infact had something intelligent to say, but that's not very likely to happen now, is it?

I thought tonedebone took his unwanted p800 back as he said. It must be blablabla being queer, he sounds it to me.

Anyone else noticed the bad spelling, punctuation, grammar etc illustrated by Tonedebone is also present in the post by TheSolicitor, the only person here to stick up for him?

If I were a suspicious person, I'd suspect that they're the same person...

He does like the word tw@t doesn't he...

Must hear it a lot I suppose.

It looks to me as though sherlock is blablabla and used tonedebones name. How childish you are sherlock aka blablabla

Sherlock you sound like you dont get no twat you queer, your to busy sticking that p800 up your arse you bender! Grow up dick head! Your the one who needs lessons you dumb twat!
