Bemused "Command timed out, Please try again"?

Hi,
Having only just got a Bluetooth dongle I am new to all this. I have it set up so that I can sync my calendar and backup my phone using PC Suite on COM 5.
But when I select to use Bemused, my phone connects to the PC Ok on COM 9, but when I refresh list Bemused gives me the above message. What does it mean? Do I have too large a directory listing? (Idon't think so because I tried it on a small subfolder as well)
Here are the technical specs:
Windows XP Pro (fully up to date with MS update site)
Wavelinker USB Dongle
Widcom Drivers 2.1
Any other information neeeded please ask.
Oh and here is the Bemused ini file:-

Have you setup COM9 form bluetooth-software?
Open Bluetooth-software:
"Bluetooth" -> "Device Manager" (I'm not sure is it named like this.. but anyway the 2nd from the dropdown) -> "Local Services"
And there click the "Add Serialservice"-button -> Give name and correct comport.

Thanks, but yes I have tried that to no avail.
I am trying to use mediaplayer 9, would that be the problem?
But it shouldn't stop me trying to get a track listing should it?

No, using Media Player shouldn't stop you getting a track listing (though support for Media Player isn't as fully-featured as for Winamp). Please try the following:

1. Go to the "settings" tab in Bemused on the phone
2. Select "Find server" from the Options menu

Bemused will then try to find which COM port you are running the server on. If it does succeed in finding the server, it will tell you which Bluetooth "channel" it's running on. In this case, you can set this channel in the settings on the phone, and Bemused should work in future.

If it doesn't succeed in finding the server, it suggests that your Bluetooth software on the PC isn't configured properly.

Well it couldn't find a server, so I tried taking PC Suite off of the port it was using and putting Bemused there, and that seemed to do the trick 😃 😃 😃
I now have to find a port that works for for PC Suite. How many bluetooth connections can my phone handle?

Only one can be handled... 😞
Can't use bemused, pc-suite or pc-remote at same time.

It would be great if bemused and pc-suite would be ON at same time.

Ps. If I'm speaking bullshit here, please correct me.

I only have one on at a time but I guess mrouter in the notification tray locks one channel staight away even if PC Suite isn't running.

Yes, if mRouter is running in the system tray, and set to use a Bluetooth COM port, that port will be locked.

Note that, using most PC Bluetooth software, it is possible to set up mRouter and Bemused to listen at the same time on different COM ports. You just can't do a sync, backup, etc. at the same time as using Bemused. This is a limitation of the 7650.

OK, Bemused seems to be happy using the COM port that PC Suite wanted, lets see if PC Suite will use the one I want to for Bemused.
