3650 broken? cannot even get safe mode

'Phone cannot start-up. Please contact Retailer'. I have had my 3650 say this after turning it on 2 days after I got it. It has been sent back for a warranty repair, all they did was format the memory, the firmware was already at latest version.

3 hours after getting my phone back working, I turned it off and on and suddenly it was giving me that error message again!

does anybody have any suggestions as to how i can format the memory without safe mode, the phone errors before safe mode even has a chance to bypass the startup programs. It's driving my crazy as I've only actually had the phone working for a few hours since I got it weeks ago!

Somebody else must have experienced this, ANY advice is appreciated!

Sorry can't really help.. I don't know. But you break ur fones more than me!

Also yea.. try loading without a sim and without a mmc.

Turn your phone off. Then plug the charger in.Then when the charging has initiated hold the 'abc' key and turn on the phone (while holding 'abc'😉.

If this doesnt work try it again without the mmc.

amusingly the phone won't even enter charge mode, it gets the same 'phone cannot start-up' error as soon as I plug in the charger.

Try holding the 'abc' key then while turning phone on.Keep the key pressed until it comes on.

If this fails you gonna have to take it to NSC

(Or give your phone to me lol) 😉

have tried holding down almost every key for the whole duration of being turned on to getting to error

no success at all, i think it's very dead. warranty replacement required methinks!
