TALK TIME

Can a 3650 owner please confirm the talk time for me? I was told 4-5 hours (standard nokia amount which should change to more) or is it 13 hours like the p800?

ok firstly the actual P800 talk time is MUCH less than what they say it is. I am unsure by how much but i know that it is alot. The 3650 talk time is around 2 hours i think.

3650 battery life is REALLY REALLY SHORT when u have the screensavers installed. It lasted like.. one day. ANd then dies. So my advice don't use them (the PsiLoc ones i mean).

As for normal battery.. umm.. more than 2 hours. I'd say about 4. Not really sure though.

Ok so its fair to say the talk time hasnt changed? Its still around the 4 hour mark. Its just im considering the 3650 after taking the p800 back for a refund not to say i wont get it back because im deciding with actually using the fones. The p800s talk time i think they got that from when using it in optimum conditions like when in flight mode (must use less battery i would of thought) any further information in the exact talk time on the 3650 would be very helpful. Thank you

I've had phone 24 hours. Initial charge. Spent the day on/off playing with bluetooth, 2 minute phone call, playing Tetris & Pubble Bobble for an hour or so and playing about 30 minutes of music in RealOne... 1 bar left this morning so its about the same as a 7650 battery - in other words useless 😊 I'd be happy to add another 50g onto a phone if it had a battery life like the T68i 😊

Hmm yeah it doesnt seem nokia can do one of the more basic things (more talk time) do i have to have all my nokias on charge when using them? I thought they wer mobile fones hahaha. I like the nokia ease of use i must say but god why not more of a battery on them who cares if its slightley heavyer! What i dont understand is why isnt there any sound when making a video recording? Cant you have sound either? Or is that an application you need to make it half a video camcorder. What amazes me also is how can 15 seconds of video recording be called a video camcorder, thats more of a video clip to me. So is the phone worth getting after knowing all that? Help me decide, your opinions are helpful

Yes you can record with sound - just get the update from the Nokia website, theres loads of links to it on these forums, do a little search.

If you want to record longer video, you can do that too.
Download HipCam.

The reson the video is kept short is because that the largest file you can send in an MMS is 100kb which is 10-15 seconds or video.
So remember, if you record londer video using HipCam, then you can not send them by MMS.

Remeber - "It's not a home video, it's a phone video!" 😊

It's not meant to compaire to your Sony DV Camcorder - it's meant to be fun!! 😉

Best 😊

Thanks for the info*:O) i see the 6650 is ment to have sound but then still the 4-5 hours talk time. Ive been told by a p800 user that apparentley there will be a software upgrade so it has a video recorder, who knows maybe sound aswell now that would be more like it, more talk time and a fun video to send by mms. Maybe its worth waiting abit because for the amount of money of these phones espesh the p800 i would expect perfection which none in my opinion have at present to suit me.

It's all a matter of what you prefer - personally I think the P800 is a bit like a brick and it just doesnt "feel" right to use... on the other hand Nokia S60s are great I've got the 7650 and 3650 and wouldn't trade them in for anything they really are the best phones I've ever had despite short battery life... if you're looking for something which can play all of your home videos and MP3s and record at handicam quality yet weighs 150g and fits in your pocket whilst also being a phone I think you might be a few years off that technology just yet 😊
