3650 sound with video? — Nokia 3650, 3660, and 3620

quick question,
if I purchased a new unlocked 3650 from Nokia store today would it be able to record sound with video?

The one I bought yesterday did - the updated cam software was pre-installed on the MMC.
And there was a note inside advising me NOT to delete it 😊

So I guess it depends on how long the shop has had it on their shelves. If not it's only a small file to download and intall 😊

was yours new from a shop? I dont think a MMC will be included from the store, is it true then that if I purchased a 3650 with the very latest firmwear (which is??) then it will be able to record sound with video? if not,
you say it can be downloaded can it be downloaded direct to the handset via gprs wap? thanks in advance.

Yes - from a shop.
They come with a 16mb MMC in the package 😊

Not sure if Nokia have a wap site for downloading updates, but I can always put it up on my WAP site for you to download.

Hi please can you direct me to somewhere where I can download the program that enables me to record voice with my video? I have just purchased a new 3650 today it is on charge now.

hi,

u dont want the app. because if u install it, u can only record 9 seconds. without sound u can record to 21 seconds

if i install the app cant i chosse on a case or case basis wether i want to use the sound for 9 sec or turn sound off and get the full 21secs?

Yes, it allows sound + video. Available at http://www.nokia.com/phones/3650/support

Although I recommend HipCam (available from http://www.handango.com/ , $19.99 ) becuase you can record up to a few minutes.
