808 successor?

7 replies · 4,411 views · Started 06 December 2012

I currently have an N8 which i love, although I would like to upgrade fairly soon.

I can't see myself go down in camera quality, which basically rules out any other phones than the 808(For a 2 year old phone, that's truly amazing by Nokia :icon14😊

Has anyone heard rumours about a successor to the 808, or a Lumia with 16+ mpx?

I think iPad shell is very good, is to carry iPad ideal choice, and it has a dual purpose, can be in the right place will it together when the stent to ideal Angle support iPad, easy to watch the video and slide, or in the screen keyboard typing

I saw lumia 610 and 510 yesterday and they are really nice phones..just the thing is they dont have memory slot otherwise they are awesome and I am in a mood to buy lumia 610..its cheap and best..

Well none of these replies actually manages to address the question asked.

In my opinion, there's not yet a phone that manages to take better pictures than the 808.

The Lumia 920 is the only possible contender, having several pros and cons. The optical image stabilization could be a drawback when trying to photograph moving subjects so not a guaranteed improvement.

And I haven't heard anything about another phone on the horizon which will be better than the 808.

Nokia did announce that they want to specialize further in the field of camera phones, so you can wait and see what announcements the year will bring.
