N8 Pictures Overexposed

Hi All, I was taking pictures recently on a cloudy day and my camera went from perfect to unusable from one click to the next. I have tried to adjust settings, have reset the camera to original setting twice and have done a soft reset on the phone once. If anyone has advice or has experienced this I will greatly appreciate all feedback.

this samsiung shell, what does it have to do with the 808 camera, suspect spammer!

I find my 808 sometimes over exposes, and does erratic metering. It only happens occasionally, so it does not bother me. If shooting in low ISO, I tend to set -0.7 ev or more to reduce sky blowout, and then use photoshop acr styles to get back the shadow details. Works a treat, but only in low ISO. High ISO shadow recovery will give terrible results.
