It says here under bluetooth services that the P800 doesnt have the file transfer service. So I tested it. I can send files(audio/video/pics) from P800 to the PC but I cant do it the other way, which is to send from PC to P800. I cant remember if I did it before but I think I did. But the thing is now I cant anymore. It bothers me that the 3650 can do it both ways without any probs. Please test this on your systems also.

Youre right, sending from file menu to p800 is not possible.
The bluetooth profile is not available for p800.
The nokia phones have this profile, you can send via bluetooth to phone.
But it is not bad, because you can copy it to the phone or memory stick after connecting the phone.
It is more useful to be able to send from phone to pc, this is not possible at example with 7650, this phone wants to do a connection (and can not do, because one is on and another is not possible - error on phone).
I think the possiblities on p800 are more usefull than on 7650. You are able to send files in both ways.

Actually even without the FTP service you can still do it. I was able to solve this problem already. I posted it on another thread. I just repaired my phone with the PC and it works again. I can now send files from the PC to the P800 even without the FTP service. 😊

I'm using the TDK USB Bluetooth adaptor (www.tdksys.com) and even though there is no FTP service, I can copy files using the service for exchanging contacts (OBEX?)

Drag the file open the service and the P800 automatically puts it in the correct folder (Music, picture, etc).
