Off topic: Here is an idea for an open source project.
A small app that can play mp4 and 3gp files with features like 90/180 degrees rotation and such.
Open source discussion (split)
How about an app that can 'read' you your sms's IE: Steven Hawkins style!!
That would be cool!

Enlighten me, hehe, what do you mean?
(Should we continue the open source discussion somewhere else?)

There's a little Speach Systhisiser apps on the PC that you can run and it will 'read' any txt file to you in a 'robot' voice, sounds like Steven Hawkins.
They can't be that hard to make these days - I first had one on my Commodore64 years ago so I'm sure a symbian phone could do it!
To receive an SMS and have the phone 'read' it to you would be cool - specialy for us that use headsets!!
😊
bit of track but is the 3650 voice activated? and also if so can it be done throgh the head set(hands free) i mean
You mean voice dialing - yes you can..

Hmm.. neither mp4 etc nor text-to-speech technologies are what I am familiar with 😉 Sounds cool anyway! Who would like to join a project liks this? Maybe you SimonBubblegum, hehe? Who else? 😉
Hmmm...since I am a very big fan of open-source...i will have something up to help you guys...nothing C++ but a more like a service for open-source.
Anyways, finding open-source text-to-speech will be not easy because M$ has an engine for this so most code is based on this. The engine ofcourse is NOT open-source so no luck there. I will dig more to find an open-source text-to-speech (old DOS stile) and tell you more.
Well, If you look for a place to host the open-source project...look no further? 😉 Our own open-source web site for the Symbian OS.

Cool! Will defenitely join the open source site you have started! Only now that spring is here I will spend much less time on programming, computers and phones so don't know when it will happen 😉
