lol Today I got a message from Nokia (because my latest phone before P800 was an 7650).
They send me a link where you can download the video recorder for the nokia 7650. I think it is the same which is on the 3650.
cry Bad that now my old phone can take videos and the P800 not can do this.
I hope it will come an app for this phone too fast, because now I�m carrying two phones with me.

Why is video recording so essential to you that you feel the need to carry 2 phones around just because one can take short MP4 videos?
This is not an essential feature, it is a marketing gimmick for Network operators to make more money from MMS messages.
I'm sure there will be one comming anytime now that the camera API has been released.
I defintely agree with Jizzo on this one.
If the recorder was capable of more,why not.
One more thing,a small mp4,3gp player would be great.

Video recording is not so necessary for me, otherwise it was better not to buy the P800. Better is therefore 3650.
But I think if a phone is able to do the recording it should be done from producers from beginning.
I only carry two phones with me on special moments, an example weekend when walking around with my dog. I sware sometimes there are really funny moments with him. This were the aspects why I wish the P800 also can do video recording. Not essential, but good when working.

Well, the only people that were stopping this from happening from release was Sony Ericsson, by not releasing the API for the developers people were unable to create video applications.
The 7650 didn't come with a video recorder, it took sometime, but less than the P800 is going to take as API was readly avaiable to any developer that wanted it.
Now that we see people releasing their own versions of the camer API, it shouldn't be long until we see something like the Hantro recorder for our P800s, it's just a waiting game.
