What the hell happened to my 9210?!?! :S

Hey Guys!
it's the first time this happens with me ! :-?

My 9210i became VERY VERY SLOW, I cant even open Calender, mesagges, cant connect it to the PC, I cant do anything actually!!
:x :x I've removed almost all the apps installed on the phone, restarted the phone 10000 times, removed the battery and put it again! but it doesn't work!!!

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

format ... if i didn't know any better I would say you might have stumbled on the first 9210 virus!

things like this happen for a reason.
shutdown all apps running, try to avoid mmc use.
try to reconnect and set things right ...

Could of course even be the hardware :s

Format should help you ...

Ok I'll format, but how can I make a backup  Because I cannot connect to the PC, and I can't run any program :-?

I've deleted INI files from the System! it now works fine!
(CTRL+SHIFT+I) <== It's a magic 8)

the phone is faster than before! I think :P

Thanks for your help

Damn! I love this forum 😃

Nice 😊
I keep forgetting that shortcut 😊 I like format better 😉

What do you need to do before you delete the ini-files? Do you then need re-install the apps?

One thing that (almost) caught me when I performed a Ctrl-Shift-I was that my internet settings was also removed. Had to restore that from backup.

No, you just need to re-enter your apps registration codes.

Yep even the profiles and the zoom% is reseted....that is not a great deal...takes me a couple of minutes to do that again. :P

That's why I prefer format, since you still have to reconfig your device, I prefer to just start totally clean 😊
