Best way to swap my N8 for another?

Hi,

I was wondering what the best way to swap my N8 for my wife's was. She is going to get a new phone and as her N8 is in better condition than mine, I'd like to swap but still be able to keep all my apps and settings.

The problem is that her N8 is locked to t-mobile where as mine is completely unlocked.

Is it possible to somehow copy my entire phone onto hers?

Or is there a better way?

thanks

If the outer housing is in better condition than your one, the best and easiest solution in my opinion is to transplant the internals from your N8 into her N8. Vola all your apps, etc all retained, and you also remain unlocked, whist getting a new looking n8

The issue is mainly that the micro usb port on my phone is lose and is really tricky to get connected, replacing the case probably wouldn't resolve this would it?

no it wont, but if you have soldering skill, one could either replace the loose or broken micro USB socket, or if solder joint is just disconnected, just re solder the joint.
