How to upgrade: Bring or call Nokia Center near your place and ask them what firmware version of Nokia 3650 they have, if they have higher than what you got.. go to their office and let them upgrade it.. It's free
I've just sent my girlfriend's off to Nokia after what looked like a software problem, will let u know what version it comes back with...

Do you know more details about flashing the phone with a new firmware ?? I wanted to flash my old 6210 some time ago, but they said me that i would lose all my contacts, sms, preferences, etc....is it still true for the 3650 ??

Yes its true,....everthing will be gone,...its just like having switch on the phone for the first time...
Just back it up with PC Suite before you have it flashed.
Yes but some DATA is not compatibile with new FW version !!!!!!
This is very bad.
I setup more more things in the phone and when i upgrade FW every is loosed. Backuping in PC Suite is no reason. You cant use old data structure in new FW version !!!!

Goto the memory card icon in extras and you'll see the option.
I backed up my 1.34 phone to MMC - put the MMC into a 2.50 phone and restored - it appeared to work ok?
What DATA is meant to be incompatible ?

arrrgh, backuping system settings before upgrading FW and restoring after upgrade FW, not backuping MMC.

You obviously did not read my post, I did not say BACK UP MMC I said BACK UP YOUR PHONE TO THE MMC.
It's the same as backing up your phone to a PC using PC Suite.

I had to take my 3650 back to carphone warehouse when I tried to register it on club.nokia it said invalid imei number phoned them they said it didnt exist. I told them i had just bought it sim free from carphone warehouse and wasnt into dodgy phones. Got a refund getting a e606.
