k ive downloaded a cpl of crap ringtones and they kind of installed to the list of tones but theyre not in the sounds folder etc..... so hoe the F do i delete them??????

no it is and cheers i didnt know that, but i also downlaoded sum crappy kngiht rider and pink panther tones and thyre now in my tones list but not in extras>recorder or in the sounds folder on the MMC!??!?!
really confusin me and actually startin to P me off!
they are saved in MMC? if yes, use file manager like seleQ or FExplorer to find *.wav or *.mid then delete the ones u want to get rid

get a file manager like FExplorer and look in c:\nokia\sounds

Use the "Find" function of any File Manager that you have and enter *.wav or *.mid on drive C: or E:
