Terminal Services (RDP) client

Hi.
I'm thinking about developing a TS client for Nokia Series 60.
Would this kind of application interest anyone? or am I wasting my time? 😊

Cheers,

Yeah, that'ld be sweet, then instead of waiting for a nice SSH app for the 7650, I could Terminal Services into my Win2K server, then SSH from there. Woah, that'll rule.

Interesting to see the bandwidth use in GPRS for such a connection!

Well, this would allow the user to remote control/administer any machine running terminal services (winnt4 terminal server edition, win2k server /w terminal services installed, any winxp edition).

although i guess that maybe a 'native' remote control (not terminal server) such as VNC might be more appealing to the general public as most machines don't run TS...

I intend to make this project open source as I'll 'borrow' pieces from either rdesktop (www.rdesktop.org) or VNC (www.uk.research.att.com/vnc) which are both open source...

I would definitely be interested. The only thing which is tying me to my XDA is my need to use terminal services. I'd love to be able to use a P910 instead as my main phone.

Did anyone have success with a Symbian/Java RDP client? I did attempt to compile the one out on SourceForge but I apparently am inept in getting the java compiler to find all of the libraries. I am still interested in acquiring the client if anyone has been successful????

anubis developin this kind of client would really be useful. and i will wait till u done m8. i use e61 so i hope tht ur client will be series 60 3rd edition compatible.
