Pureview 808: Exchange ActiveSync the only email option over wlan? — Symbian^3 phones (N8, C7, C6-01, E7-00)

When I use my new Pureview 808 in offline mode with wifi and try to define a
new mailbox, I get Exchange ActiveSync as the only option. Does anybody
know, is it only me - perhaps messed up settings - or is it by design? That
is, there is no way to manually enter settings for smtp & pop/imap when one
is using the phone over the wifi without a simcard?

If that is case, it is fine, I can live with it - I can transfer my pictures using
bluetooth but would prefer mail in my environment.

Yet, I find it a bit curious if there are any email options at all (over wifi),
it would be just Exchange ActiveSync!
