How to see Facebook Events/birthdays in Belle? — Symbian^3 phones (N8, C7, C6-01, E7-00)

Ok, i missed the deadline to get my gmail account onto my Nokia 808.

Not to worry, i thought. I can use outlook.com.

So i exported the contacts from gmail to outlook.com and set up Exchange Active Sync using my outlook.com address.

Then i got the calendar in the outlook.com site to show my Facebook events/birthdays.

My phone managed to grab all the contacts from outlook.com but the calendar is empty.

I have checked the calandar on outlook.com site and it shows all the facebook events/bdays. Checked all the options too.

Does anyone know what i'm doing wrong? Or is there an easier way to see FB events/bdays on my 808?

the simple thing is that you see all the birthdays and events in your Facebook profile why to look up here and there

Do you even know how bad the FB apps are?

And its so much easier to look at the calendar widget/app to see upcoming events.....

try fmobi, the facebook app is not too shabby.

unfortunately, fmobi is having problems. always have API errors. Even the creator does not know how to fix the problem.
