Is there a flash (SWF) viewer for the P800, i've tried using Opera to view but it seems it's not supported.

There was one for S60 I seem to remember, anyone heard of anything simlar for the 800?

It needs a plug-in that exist only for 9210. I dont remember to hear that existed plug-in for series 60.

A Plugin for Opera on 9210?

It wasn't a plugin for Opera on S60 as Opera doesn't exist for S60. It was a seperate program. Like Macromedia Flash Player 😉

Macromedia in their infinite wisdom decided to charge something like $1m for each port of the Flash player to other devices. A blatantly stupid decision because had they been more forward thinking they could have cornered a market by now.
As far as I'm aware, the Flash 5 player is now open source so could be ported / implemented by someone else, but is it worth anyones time and effort to give Flash support to devices that Macromedia is happy to ignore? The short answer is obviously 'no'.

I have been in contact with Both Opera and Macromedia.

Opera do supply the Plug-in API to Macromedia, but after that point it's out of their hands altogether.

There are various press releases from MM regarding flash and Symbian, but nothing released (bar 9210) at the moment, waiting for the reply.
