Backup alternativ — Sony Ericsson P800, P900 and P910

As I'm in no need of the PC Suite (its totally bloatware and a giant rescource hog and for transferring files I use BT) I'm searching for a backup alternative. I don't want to install the PC Suite only for doing a backup once a week as the PC Suite is quite unuseful despite the backup thing.

So my question is if there is a Symbian 7 Program which installs onto the P800 and can backup all phone data (like the Pc Suite does th the PC HD) to a memory stick. As I don't have very much installed and have a 64MB MS I'd love to see such a tool capable of backing up from the P800.

After a hard reset (should it cannot be unavoided) I could just install the backup tool and restore the whole data from the MS.

So, is such a program out there?

Try the Linux Backup if your hart aint with Windows ....

Then back it up on your Memorystick...

...

Conclusion ... Windows is much Faster with this and more supported ...

My P800 works like a charm on Linux, dont get me wrong. But if you aint used to Unix.

You better go for MS :P

I'm not searching for an alternative OS. I'm a user of a PDA (Ipaq H5450) and for PocketPC OS there are several backup tool that can back up directly to a SD-Card from the PDA so there is no need for a blow up PC-Suite. Sad, that the P800 lacks this comfort.
