Been looking on att wireless's site and they dont seem to carry them! any idea where i might be able to pick one up? Which one works best? any links would be appreciated. Also i prefer if its in america 😃

most computer shops should sell them.. or they can order them in. i paid $60aud for mine (30usd) but the average price will be about 40usd. make sure its USB and Windows (whatever you use) compatible.

The Mitsumi ones can be picked up for about 30 on eBay and I've even got it working with NDS 😊

I agree get bluetooth . It may still have compatibility issues but its still a lot more versatile and faster. And you dont need to aim it either hehe

im having an infra red port... but couldnt really connect the 3650 with the pc suite.... mrouter keep saying 'connecting' with the blue n green icon.. sometimes it says connected.. but when i open my pcsuite, the status at the bottom right is still on disconnnected mode... thus, i cannot do anything except for closing the pcsuite. i dont know why,... some say that the infrared port is not compatible with the pcsuite.... sigh.. i dont know what to do now....
bluetoooth adapter? im afraid i will buy one that is not compatible again... anyone out there can tell me which model i should buy which is 100% detecable n connetable between pcsuite n 3650?
thankz

i'm not sure about you guys but i think you guys are just not setting up the gear properly.. i mean an IR port is an IR port. there are multiple ways to connect and through many weirdass programs which stuff everything up.

here's what I use:
DIRECT IRCOMM (standard)
No ports; no messy stuff..
Its the standard in Windows 2000/XP.

i think thats what its called.

anyway make sure mRouter knows what kind of IR settings you have.. i'm suprised it disconnects. by any chance are you on a USB hub? in which case data is not 'constant'.. try plugging it into its OWN usb port or try disconnecting other devices on the hub.

wot u mean compatiblity issues wiv bluetooth adapters how can we be sure we are buying the right one then

Yeah, I also suggest you buy a bluetooth. IR is old stuff 😊 hehe! I mean, bluetooth transfers data faster than the IR. About the compatibilty issues, I'm using the Billionton bluetooth USB adapter and it works properly. I've also tried the MSI bluetooth and it also works.

I just ordered the first one (bluetake) as their website has guides on doing all the pcSuite/file transfer/modem stuff with the 7650 so I'm pretty sure its compatible with the 3650. No more crappy IR for me 😃
