I have a 2nd hand n7650 w/ firmware ver. 3.12. I'm thinking about upgrading to ver. 4.46. Here in Sydney it will cost me between A$ 44 to A$ 66 and I'm kinda broke now... :cry: Do you think it's worth it? What improvements / new features does ver. 4.46 have over 3.12?

Hi, there is a lot of threads here about the firmware, even what the improvements by version are - try a search for "firmware".
But in short, with 3.12, you run a real risk of the phone blocking up due to lack of memory (if you load too many apps & games onto it). Also, later versions are faster and more stable.
If I were you, I'd do it, but do search the forum so you can decide for yourself

if you can prove it's still under warranty, you can take it to a NSC, and complain that you're always rebooting, it blocks all the time - they'll update you for nothing in that case (you may have to join "club nokia" first)
