Hi!
Is there a possibility that the background lighting is always on (for watching videos).
I tried torch, this works well if the video doesn't play in full screen mode, bute if I switch to full screen mode, it doesn't work anymore (don't know why).
Thx

try extended profiles from www.psiloc.com - you can set the backlight on in any profile. Probably the easiest way...

That programme's feature has the same problem as torch, in the WIND Video full screen mode, the lighting switches off, damn.
Use FileExplorer, it keeps the light always on (thru a toggle in the menu), then switch to your other application and the light stays on without clearing the screen.
If you need to 're-switch' the light, just go back to FileExplorer and change it via the menu to return to the 'original' state.
PS: FileExplorer has no problem with this feature !!! (and it's free)

FileExplorer at www.gosymbian.com
Yes, I know what you mean.
It works for all applications, and the light stays on, also during de Video playback in "normal" mode.
Bute if I swich the video programm to "full screen" mode, the light switchs off after 10 sec. or so.
It seems as if this full screen mode forces the normal settings. When I continue to watch in normal mode or start any other application the light stays on again, as it should.
Strange...
Wihch program do you use for the video ??, I can download it and check -
